Mini Sugar Cookies (and frosting)

If you want a quick treat, these sugar cookies are the perfect answer. You just don’t have to make mini cookies, but can also make just one from the dough. This simple dessert can be ready in just about 16 minutes, with just 11 steps.

  • 1 Tbs. Flour
  • 1 Tbs. Sugar
  • 1 Small pinch Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. Butter
  •  1 Tsp. Milk

  • 1 Tbs. powdered sugar
  • 1/3 Tsp. Milk
  • 1/16 Tsp.  Vanilla

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until a doughy consistency. Place in a fridge for ten minutes and up. While it is chilling make a mini baking sheet from tin foil, about the size of a playing card. Line with parchment paper. Remove from fridge and knead dough on a floured counter, then roll into small balls and flatten with a finger on the mini baking sheet. Bake in a small toaster oven four minutes, or until a golden brown. Frost, and put sprinkles on top if wanted.

For frosting mix the sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl till a good consistency. Add food coloring if you want. Using a fork, lightly place a drop of frosting on top of your cookie. Spread evenly on the cookie, and if you want, add sprinkles for a dash of color.

Stored in an airtight container, they will keep for several days.
